Magnify: Live Arts application

Magnify: Live Arts supports western Sydney artists to develop new projects to be presented live.

We define live as performing in real time to an audience.

Blacktown Arts will provide:

  • mentoring
  • 1 week of residency space in western Sydney in November
  • financial support to develop a new live project idea.

This program encourages artists to experiment with new ideas, become part of a cohort of fellow residents, and be supported by guest mentors and the Blacktown Arts team.

Applications are open to live art projects across a range of art forms, including (but not limited to):

  • performance
  • dance
  • music composition
  • theatre.

Individuals and groups are welcome to apply.

Applications open: Wednesday 3 June, 2026

Information session: Thursday 11 June 2026, from 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm

Applications close: Monday 29 June, 2026
