The Leo Kelly Blacktown Arts Centre

In line with NSW Public Health Orders, The Leo Kelly Blacktown Arts Centre will reopen to the public on Thursday 21 October.  

Regular opening hours

Monday | Closed
Tuesday | 10 am – 5 pm
Wednesday | 10 am – 5 pm
Thursday | 10 am – 5 pm
Friday | 10 am – 5 pm
Saturday | 10 am – 5 pm
Sunday | Closed

All are welcome and entry is free

COVID-19 safety measures

There are conditions of entry, which are listed below and on signage at the entrance to our venue. We appreciate your cooperation.

  • Visitors must check in and show evidence of full vaccination status
  • Face masks are mandatory to be worn in the venue, unless exempted
  • Social distance within the venue
  • If you are feeling unwell, please stay home
  • If you are a close contact of Covid-19, are awaiting a Covid-19 test result, are required to self-isolate or suspect or have confirmed Covid-19, please stay home

Parking and transport

Free parking is available at The Leo Kelly Blacktown Arts Centre via Campbell St. Alternatively there is free all day and 3 hour parking at Colo Lane car park and free 3 hour parking at the Warrick Lane precinct car park. Free 2 hour and 4 hour parking is also available in the Kmart carpark off Flushcombe Rd.

On weekends, free all day parking is also available in the Council Civic Centre carpark, accessible via Campbell St next to Bowman Hall.

There is one accessible free parking space in the carpark at the Campbell St entry to The Leo Kelly Blacktown Arts Centre. Please display your valid parking permit when using the space.

Wheelchair access

The Leo Kelly Blacktown Arts Centre offers level access and space for wheelchairs in all our public areas. Access to The Leo Kelly Blacktown Arts Centre by ground access on Flushcombe Road and accessible via ramp from Campbell Street and the car park.

We can accommodate patrons in wheelchairs and their guests for our performances, workshops and other events. Please book ahead and let our staff know of any special needs so we can ensure you are looked after by calling 02 9839 6558 or emailing artcentre@blacktown.nsw.gov.au.

Accessible Toilets

A fully accessible toilet facility is located adjacent to the front reception.

Assistance Animals

Guide dogs or any animals trained to assist people with disability are welcome inside all public areas of the venue. To ensure appropriate seating is allocated for events, please let us know your requirements when booking or by calling 02 9839 6558 or emailing artcentre@blacktown.nsw.gov.au.
