Two fantastic opportunities are available through our Solid Ground project. Solid Ground is a three-year strategy established in partnership with Carriageworks that provides pathways into the arts and cultural industries for young Indigenous people in Blacktown, Redfern, and Waterloo.
OPPORTUNITY 1
Paid Internship | Assistant Stage Manager | Klub Koori at Carriageworks
Applications are open for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth to apply to work as a paid intern on the upcoming Klub Koori at Carriageworks. Interns will work alongside seasoned producers, curators, technicians, project managers and executives to support a variety of jobs aiding in the delivery of the project.

OPPORTUNITY 2
Year 10 Visual Arts Program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders
Year 10 arts students are invited to participate in a free workshop at the National Art School. Students can choose from the following mediums:
- Painting and collage
- Wire sculpture and cardboard
- Print-making
The workshop will be held on Monday, May 22 2017 from 10 am – 2 pm at the National Art School, Forbes St & Burton Street, Darlinghurst. Places are limited.
