Join us for the world premiere of Jumaadi’s new performance work at a special day of events taking place alongside the Terra inFirma: Sovereignty and Memory exhibition.
Featuring five artists, two projectors and an assortment of traditional gamelan and contemporary musical instruments, Jumaadi’s Sea of Thorny Fruits is an intense but humorous new shadow play which explores the relationship between humans and the sea. Read more about the performance here.
Before the performance, artists Alex Byrne and Julie Vulcan join Terra inFirma: Sovereignty and Memory curator Paul Howard to discuss their works in the exhibition. Learn more about Terra inFirma here.
