Blacktown Arts invites you to SUBMERGE.FM, an immersive evening of music. Curated by musician Esky Escandor with heart and community at its core, this music night brings together some of western Sydney’s most exciting pop and ambient acts. SUBMERGE.FM creates a welcoming space where artists and audiences connect through an intimate sonic experience.

Headlining the event is Chris Vincent, a singer-songwriter from western Sydney, whose alt-pop sound and heartfelt lyricism channels the intimacy of artists like Steve Lacy and grent perez.

Also taking the stage is 2DAWCOUPE (Tigue and Dylan from mel.wav), whose ambient soundscapes and infectious grooves are rooted in the DIY ethos of western Sydney’s underground and the Area House movement.

Sepora brings her signature dark pop to the night, combining soulful vocals with atmospheric beats. Rounding out the lineup is Heart Armour, whose cinematic music speaks powerfully to the experiences of their community, cementing them as one of the region’s most compelling new voices.

On your way in, pick up some takeaway from the wide array of affordable Blacktown CBD food businesses and get ready to lose yourself in some of the sounds of western Sydney.

Bios

Chris Vincent is a Filipino-Australian singer-songwriter from Western Sydney, known for his smooth blend of bedroom pop, indie R&B, and soul. Began writing music at age eight and producing tracks on GarageBand by 14, drawing inspiration from artists like Steve Lacy and grentperez. His early demos, including “forevermore” and “peace,” gained traction online, and in 2024 his single “SUPERNOVA” made him a finalist in triple j Unearthed High. Chris brings heartfelt lyrics and genre-blurring creativity to Australia’s emerging music scene, carving out a fresh and introspective sound that resonates with a new generation of listeners.

2DAWCOUPE are a 2 person act made up of  artists Tigue and Dylan from mel.wav, whose ambient soundscapes and infectious grooves are rooted in the DIY ethos of western Sydney’s underground and the Area House movement.

Heart Armour is a dynamic Sydney-based trio—Jenny Trinh (Wytchings), Kashif Sheikh (Kash Bhai), and Zac Edwards (roomers)—who blend ambient dream-pop textures, brooding R&B vocals, and club-driven electronic rhythms into a rich, collaborative sound. Debuting with their single “White Flag” in December 2024, the band created a stirring sonic atmosphere, merging delicate, icy textures with hazy, nostalgic melodies and melancholic-yet-hopeful lyrics. music, born from intimate friendships and improvisational jam sessions, has been recognized by fbi.radio as “Independent Artist of the Week,” praised for its emotional depth and seamless fusion of genres. Heart Armour has already played notable venues across Sydney—like Parramatta Lanes, Lazy Thinking, Marrickville, and the Vanguard—and toured extensively, captivating audiences with their immersive performances. With a clear artistic vision and collaborative spirit, Heart Armour is emerging as one of Western Sydney’s most compelling new acts.

Sepora, is a dark-pop vocalist and performer based in Western Sydney, with roots in South New Zealand. Known for her smoky, soulful voice and commanding stage presence, Sepora has become a standout figure in Sydney’s indie music and arts scene. She has performed at major venues like the Big Top at Luna Park and Sydney Town Hall, and her emotive live sets—often just her and a guitar—have captivated audiences across the city. A featured artist on triple j Unearthed, Sepora’s work blends cinematic textures with raw, confessional lyrics. As part of Blacktown Arts’ “Unspoken” series, she showcased her artistry in immersive livestream performances, further cementing her place as one of the region’s most distinctive creative voices.
