We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this Land, the Dharug people, and their continued connection to Country.
We pay our respects to Elders from yesterday to tomorrow.
We extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples of Blacktown City where the flannel flowers still grow proud and strong.
We will walk softly on this land and open our hearts to Country as the Dharug people have for tens of thousands of years.

Calling all spies to Blacktown Arts!
Ebony Wightman of We Are Studios is launching her 2025 Makers Space, ‘Level 5’, and you’re invited!

Informed by her lived experience as an Autistic person, Ebony’s playful Makers Space unpacks feelings of living a double life and trying to make yourself fit into a world that was not made for you. The space will be transformed into a spies hideout full of mysteries to solve, disguises to craft and wear, and talking pigeons!

On Level 5, “Why? And Who?” are both the questions and the answers.

Makers Space was launched in 2024 as an immersive and interactive space for creatives of all ages. Led by guest artists and curators, the Makers Space offers a year-round, dedicated space for reflection, creativity and play.
