Create your own poetry with celebrated Gamilaroi poet Luke Patterson, connect with pieces of nature through Anney Bounpraseuth’s drawing workshop and create your own woven piece with Tarni Eastwood and Melinda Eastwood (Tarni’s mum!)

Anney’s workshop will start outside, where participants will collect items from the gardens in the carpark to then be used in large scale drawings and rubbings that celebrate connections to land and Country.

Tuesday 16 April
Luke Patterson is a celebrated Gamilaroi poet, musician and educator. In this workshop, Luke will take you through creating your own poem inspired by Tarni Eastwood’s Makers Space.
Luke will support each participant through the process, providing different ways to think and write poetically.
