EMERGE 2021 PROGRAM

For emerging western Sydney artists 


The EMERGE program is an access driven and disability-led program focused on supporting artists with disability, mental health concerns or access requirements.

Be part of this exciting FREE 12-week program for emerging artists where you will share and gain new creative skills to collaborate, develop new work and exhibit at the Front Up studios, Seven Hills. 

PROGRAM DATES

WEDNESDAYS from 1st Sept to 17th Nov 2021


EMERGE 21 is a professional creative development program for artists to expand on their art practice through mentoring by experienced professional artist and educators. EMERGE 21 artists will engage and respond to AGNSW exhibitions and artworks, gain access to the Front Up studios, and collaborate with fellow artists to create and exhibit new work for the EMERGE 21 exhibition in 2021.

EMERGE 21 is a Front Up program in collaboration with the Art Gallery of NSW and Blacktown Arts. Front Up Studios is an organisation within Ability Options.

APPLICANTS MUST:

  • be 18 years or older
  • be based in Western Sydney
  • be an emerging artist
  • be able to commit to the dates listed in the program time frame
