Applications for the 2020 Blacktown City Creative Arts Fund will open on 17 February.
The Creative Arts Fund fosters an active and vibrant independent arts and cultural sector to strengthen Blacktown City’s economic capacity through the potential establishment of creative industries, and increased visitor attractions.
Please note that the Creative Arts Fund is only available to residents of the Blacktown Local Government Area.
There are two categories in this grant:
Category A: Community organisations
This category will provide local incorporated community organisations with grants of up to $3,000 to develop artistic programs or projects with the community.
Community organisations and groups can apply to category A. The Creative Arts fund in this category will allow the organisation to employ an artist to help plan and design an artistic program with their groups.
Category B: Individual artists and artist groups
This category will provide local artists and artist groups with grants of up to $2,000 to assist their professional development or to work on a project with a local community group.
Applications will close Sunday 15 March.
We are holding information sessions for the Creative Arts Fund on Thursday 20 February and Thursday 27 February.
