The 2025 Blacktown City Young Artist Prize invites children and young people to create an artwork that reflects on the theme Sharing our Skies – Visualising the power of our skies and all things that fly.
The sky is full of powerful things like the wind, clouds and the sun. For example, the wind is a great transporter of seeds and the sun provides light and warmth for them to grow. Wind turbines and solar panels are examples of how we harvest the powers of the wind and sun to create electricity.
Step outside, look up, and create an artwork that shares a peek into all things up high!
