The Blacktown Arts Digital Artist in Residence program invites an artist for a 3-month online residency to develop a digital artwork to be presented online.
Step into Shimmy’s world of video and music as she develops new work to be shared online. During her online residency, she will explore themes of alternate realities and hidden patterns through assembling visuals, sound, and storytelling.

Shimmy is an Australian born Korean artist who constructs immersive worlds through video and music. Her work assembles visuals, sound, and storytelling to explore themes of alternate realities and hidden patterns, inviting audiences into a sense of childlike curiosity.
