Blacktown Arts and Front Up are joining forces to facilitate a series of workshops especially curated for people with disability.
In June, local artist George Tillianakis will guide participants through a series of “performance drawings” working on large scale paper. The process of making will be inspired by word association from participants’ experience of our current exhibition, Blood, Sweat and Tears: The Life and Art of Kolozsy – Sculptor.
In August, local artist Rosalind Stanley will lead a Kids Art, Sound and Movement workshop for babies and toddlers aged 2-5 years old with disability along with their families. These accessible workshops will focus on music, beginning and ending with a Hello and a Goodbye song, Reading Time as well as movement and vocal exercises and art making. Bookings will open mid-July.
In September, artists George Tillianakis, Rosalind Stanley and Rosell Flatley will join forces to lead a Movement and Sound workshop for babies and toddlers aged 2-5 years old with disability along with their families. Bookings will open mid-August.
Cost: $5 per session. Bookings essential.
