Amplified Part II
28/10/2019 | 10:00 am - 5:00 pmFree
Following on from the success of their immersive art installation Amplified, as part of our Magnify festival, brothers Ernest and Andrew Aaron were in residency at the Leo Kelly Blacktown Arts Centre to develop a second iteration of their installation: Amplified Part II.
Ernest and Andrew Aaron collaborate on multimedia immersive art installations, fusing experimental sound manipulation, sampling and improvisation through digital and analogue technologies. In Amplified their field recordings, video and photography are utilised to magnify the everyday sights and sounds of the neighbourhood.
Join us in the afternoon on Saturday 19 October 2 – 3 pm for a new performance by the artists. Local brothers Ernest and Andrew Aaron will perform for the second time an improvised soundscape within their immersive multimedia art installation Amplified. Their performance will fuse experimental sound manipulation with percussion and looped instrumentation.
The performance is a free event, however bookings are required. Click here to book.
