At Blacktown Arts, we walk alongside our First Nations Elders and knowledge holders, and we acknowledge the Darug people who are the traditional owners of the Land on which we work.
During NAIDOC Week, we celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The theme for NAIDOC Week 2020 is Always Was, Always Will Be, and all Australians are invited to embrace the true history of this country – a history which dates back thousands of generations. Learn more about NAIDOC Week here.
We invite you to join us as we listen to stories, experience culture and celebrate the achievements of Australia’s First Peoples.
